Join the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Program for the Deconstructing SBIR: But Wait There’s More! “Learn about New and Improved Outreach Ventures” webinar on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at 2 p.m. ET.
During this webinar, attendees will hear from the newest member of the DHS SBIR team, Outreach Manager Connie Benesh, who will talk about her role and the ways in which SBIR is engaging new and innovative small businesses to promote awareness of the program, resources for small businesses, and future efforts to connect with us.
Ms. Benesh will be joined by special guest, Dr. Jenny Servo, the founder and President of Dawnbreaker, for a fireside chat on Phase 0. Launched in fall 2023, Phase 0 is a new initiative that collaborates with individuals and organizations committed to diversifying the science and engineering workforce to engage new innovators to participate in the DHS SBIR Program and learn how to access assistance. The program also develops resources that can be used by all potential offerors to learn more about the DHS mission needs and the SBIR submission process. Learn about the latest efforts with Phase 0 and how DHS SBIR is working to bring the program to more communities across the nation!
